National Institute of Science and Technology
(NIST) Program to Sponsor Axiomatic Design Technology Transfer
Brighton, MA, April 13, 2004
- Axiomatic Design Solutions, Inc. (ADSI) signed an agreement with MassMEP to
provide qualified companies with Axiomatic Design training and technology transfer
with matching funds through a $3 million NIST sponsored program.
Developed at MIT and awarded Industry Week's Technology of the Year award,
Axiomatic Design process technology opens a window of transparency into product
design processes. Competition, shortening product life cycles and ever increasing
product complexity has made the product development process increasingly critical
to business success. To get it right the first time, companies are demanding
new levels of product development performance and are turning to Axiomatic Design
processes to meet tight requirements, contain cost and improve delivery.
Massachusetts companies now have an opportunity to get matching funds for their
Axiomatic Design training and technology transfer under the sponsorship of a
Technical Skills Training Program. The Program is overseen by the Regional
Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Massachusetts
Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP).
Learn more about the MassMEP
Technical Skills Training Program and Axiomatic Design methodology at a "Lean
Product Lifecycle" breakfast program on May 12 in Westborough, MA. For event
